Seattle Police Department have re-assigned one of their police officers after it was revealed that around 80% of all Marijuana tickets were given out by one cop. The officer in question disagrees with voter-enacted changes in Washington’s Marijuana law and has been quoted as calling them ‘silly’. Racial profiling could have been at play as a large portion of the tickets were issued to people from Seattle’s African-American Community, which itself is an 8% minority in Seattle.
