“There is absolutely no doubt that cannabis is anti-cancer because we have proven in many experiments, with many different cancers” – Professor Guillermo Velasco, associate professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Complutense University, Madrid, Spain. He received his PhD in Biology from Complutense University and completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Dundee, Scotland, UK. His research interest focuses on the study of the molecular mechanisms that regulate cancer cell death with particular emphasis on the study of cannabinoids as anti-cancer agents and the role of autophagy in cancer.
Hello, does anyone know how to get contact to Prof. Velasco? My sister was diagnozed with a Glioblastoma multiforme grade 4 and has had the whole poison standard! All we want is that she can take part in his current study in Madrid. If anyone knows how to contact him I would be thankful from the bottom of my heart for any information.
You should be able to make contact through Madrid Complutense University, their website is here https://www.ucm.es/.
